The rhythm of each bumping of metal to metal seemed lopsided, brought about from a lack of finesse with such weight, but it began to situate itself in a much more uniform beat; still a bit unsure of itself, but not nearly as discordant. The distance to the partified foyer shortened, the sputtering clashes of shifting metal growing louder as its approacg was imminent. Then again, it was also beginning to grow quieter in a way, the more accustomed it got to moving, the less unnecessary noise was being echoed. Alas, the origin of the odd sound finally made it's appeareance! [i]IT'S ROBOT, IT'S TIN MAN, IT'S A CRAB-- NO, IT'S-[/i][br] [br][font=times new roman][i][u]A CRAB KNIGHT!!![/u][/i][/font][br] [br]Jeez, armor is [i]heavy[/i]. He enjoys its coverage, and the layer of metallic clothing does nake him feel quite invincible- like he could be SUPER PROTECTIVE of anyone in danger, but Kankri has no idea why he thought this was a good idea- oh, wait. It wasn't exactly his own idea-- it was two ideas put together, both offered by Aradia. Kankri thought being a knight was still better suited for Karkat, but alas, as a conventional costume, he could not deny he enjoyed it somewhat.[br] [br] 23:36:41
The style of this Crabbish Armor seem to pull inspiration from all over the place, the helmet seemed derived of Templar Knights- [i]Crusaders[/i] as some call them, but rather than JUST being a blocky helmet that covered everything, it had a visor flap—currently down—reminiscent of a Renaissance Knight's. The whole upper body set seemed to be what is expected of plated medieval knight, but also managing to have a mini-cape hooked under the pauldrons. The legs of the armor were a bit more light weight, still plated though of a slightly sleeker design. The armor as a whole was slightly 'crusted' and had slight rigid prickles on some segments like the elbow pieces, the knee bits, the pauldrons, and little stubbly-bumps on top of the helmet. The armor had a scarlet tint that gradiented to a slight off white before giving way to the shiny iron.[br] [br]The small cape was bright scarlet, a black crab printed upon its face. He even had a shield! He was super committed to the costume! The shield was basically a large tapestry turbo shell, commonly what a hermit crab would call its home! Now all he needs is a sword, but Kankri is, of course, against violence, so he did not allow such a thing. He will just be a Shield Knight! There he stands, too preoccupied with himself to notice any new arrivals, trying to readjust some bits-- is he cool yet? Does he look as awesome as he thought he did in his head? 23:36:47
