Usually a royal battle for the throne is initiated to minimize the casualties of trolls under an empresses rule. Should the other Empress be defeated at all, its a loss of their throne, either because they displayed a weakness and their own court overthrew them, or because the other empresses took it. Regular fights rarely occur, unless it's against pirates trying to take land for themselves... On Altarborus, if your strength is questioned, it will be tested... 09:10:26

They will either be chased down by the other empress, or have to admit defeat, which would make them a target to trolls that see it as weakness.... Strong trolls think it is their duty to cull weakness. It is.. not great.... 09:16:31
